Desert Rock Ministries is an independent Full Gospel ministry located in Tempe AZ. Desert Rock Christian Counseling is the central outreach of this ministry, which is headed by James A. Laine, Ph.D. Dr. Laine has an extensive background in pastoring, counseling and teaching. He has an earned Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy, a second Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and a Doctorate of Theology. He is licensed through the National Christian Counseling Association and is a teacher/mentor for the NCCA. He is also an adjunct professor in counseling for Liberty University. He is board certified in Marriage and Family Therapy, Domestic Violence, Sex Therapy and Addictions and Substance Abuse.
