Christian Social Activities and Events

Bringing awareness and growth to the efforts of Christian churches, organizations, ministries or related business. Uniting and igniting believers through the events of these Bible believing and following places, in communities and across the country, in an effort to help believers stay on track making a greater impact in their lives, relationships, communities and with helping those still seeking, to find the grace of God which offers them rest, peace and salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

God Around Town was created to help spark, encourage and unite the body of Christ through supporting our neighboring ministries (organizations, churches, related businesses) who are holding or sponsoring Christian activities, or working in ways to support Christian ministries and their work.

Other benefits would be all of us becoming more aware of God's presence in our daily lives, interactions with people and situations around us, growing our relationship with Him, which will help us in our people relationships as well, bringing more blessings for our families and communities, and giving more opportunities for spreading His love and His Word.

We see this site as a valuable tool for local and national exposure of Christian based clubs and social activities, as well as mission and outreach work and learning opportunities. Helping believers and non believers know the wide variety of ways available to serve God and people, will spark more interest in some people to get involved, or God may spark a new idea through them or their meeting fellow Christians. These are just ideas, because only God knows the reasons for people's connections or finding certain ministries. God Around Town is just a way of inviting those using the site to find more of what God is prompting them about.

We also see it being a good resource for people who travel often or move, to find out what's God up to in any area they are landing in or passing through, and maybe decide to be a part of an event there.

The many Event Types are all sorts of ways to get involved, grow new connections and friendships, learn or have fun every day, through the variety of Members of this site. From entertainment and family fun activities to informational and educational ones about Biblical views on a wide range of topics.

We know this site will help remind us that Jesus is Lord of our family, community, nation and world. Our job is to seek The Lord, do His will and let Him handle everything else.

The Bible is very much still The ONE Source for answers to all of today's many questions about every issue of our lives and relationships, our society, our government and world.

God only recently inspired this website idea for helping activate and unify the body of Christ, so we welcome your feedback about how we can improve on it.
